A long time ago you or your parents or grandparents picked up their movie camera and captured a moment of time on film. Maybe it was your sixth birthday, that trip to Disneyland or that family vacation to the Grand Canyon when the world seemed new. Those films are sweet memories that embrace us like the warm hug of a loved one. They didn’t realize it then, but those filmed moments were a gift. A gift that you can now share with your children and grandchildren.
At The Film Whisperer, we transfer those precious filmed moments, both Regular 8 and Super 8 movie film, to DVD (also miniDV, Digital8 and VHS). We want to make the project of converting your family’s home movies to DVD as smooth as possible while delivering excellent value for money. To convert your film, we use professional telecine motion picture equipment.
At The Film Whisperer, we don’t treat your home movies like just another “transfer job”, but rather we are creating an archival document that you can pass on to your loved ones. These filmed moments of your life are an important part of your family’s history and we are committed to giving your project the care and attention it deserves. You have our word on it.
